Park(ing) Day Installation Day
On the actual of parking day, our Go Garden team set up in the quad where a good flow of traffic would occasionally waft by. Our finished product was set up where people could easily move from station to station (pots, soil, seeds, water, recipes) and take their new little plant home with no hassle.
We observed as people walked by, their eyes glued to the display until one of us finally asked if they would like to grow their own garden at home. “Sure!” Was the usual excited response of students and faculty. One man even dropped by a second time to chat about his love for gardening and inform us about the variety of different plants that can be grown throughout San Francisco.
Other people who stopped by were ecstatic about the seeds and grabbed as many as they could!
One girl even encouraged our efforts, told us we had her full support then proceeded to take her potted plants and claimed she would plant them all around campus. With all these interactions, it's safe to say our parking day installation was a success. We started out with 100 biodegradable pots and we left with only 34. That means we were able to promote the growth of 64 new plants into this urban jungle and promote a healthier lifestyle.

Site Proposals
Stress/Therapy Center
Problem: Students can find themselves to be stressed out whether it be school, family, or life. By offering a stress/therapy center, students have an opportunity to relieve some of that stress that they can find themselves experiencing.
Brief: Materials may include water, glue, borax, recycled materials, incense, and trained animals. The stress/therapy center can range from creating your own stress toy/ fidgeter, or a stress toy/fidgeter set up, aroma therapy from flowers or incense, and human interaction with animals. For the big picture, we want to promote a healthy well-being while keeping a positive attitude in life and on campus. We want to execute our idea in a way where students can forget about their responsibilities for a moment and recenter themselves with benefiting activities.

Community Garden
The concept is to ask students/faculty to “plant” their favorite fruits or vegetables. We will
construct garden boxes in abstract ways to draw our audience in, as well as prop fruits and
veggies for planting. The idea is to encourage the campus community to build a garden together, and then offer information about the consequences of animal agriculture, and the environmental/health benefits of a plant-based diet
